PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY. BY USING THIS WEBSITE OR ENGAGING WAALS ARCHITECTS' SERVICES, YOU AGREE TO THESE TERMS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE OR OUR SERVICES.
1. Intellectual Property Rights
All architectural designs, blueprints, 3D renderings, drawings, and content on this website ("Designs") are the exclusive property of Waals Architects Uganda or its licensors, protected under Ugandan copyright and trademark laws. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or modification of Designs without written consent is prohibited.
2. Architectural Services
Project Agreements. Services (design, consultancy, project management) are governed by separate written agreements outlining scope, fees, and timelines.
Client Responsibilities. Clients must provide accurate site information and obtain necessary permits from Ugandan authorities. Waals Architects is not liable for delays caused by regulatory bodies.
3. Fees & Payments
Payments are due as per the agreed schedule. Late payments incur a 2% monthly interest fee. A 30% deposit is required to commence design work.
4. Liability Limitations
Waals Architects disclaims liability for:
- Construction errors by third-party contractors.
- Site conditions discovered post-design.
- Changes in Uganda's National Building Regulations.
Maximum liability is capped at the total fees paid for the affected service.
5. Project Revisions
Two (2) design revisions are included in standard fees. Additional revisions cost $150/hour.
6. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep project details confidential unless required by Ugandan law.
7. Termination
Either party may terminate projects with 30 days' written notice. Deposits are non-refundable if work has commenced.
8. Force Majeure
Waals Architects is not liable for delays caused by natural disasters, political unrest, or supply chain disruptions in Uganda.
9. Dispute Resolution
Disputes shall be resolved amicably. If unresolved, they will be settled in Ugandan courts under Ugandan law.
10. General
Waals Architects may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance.
